Constructed in 2013, Dubai Frame was the brainchild of renowned architect Francisco Donis, who was the winner of a ThyssenKrupp Elevator Architecture Award back in 2009. This unique piece of infrastructure was designed to bridge the gap between the new city and the old and bring them together in an artistic manner. While standing on the Old City side of of the frame, visitors get the opportunity to see the ultramodern vision for Dubai's future. While standing on the new town side of the frame, visitors are offered the opportunity to get a glimpse into the historic side of the city.

A World-Record Holder in Dubai

Dubai Frame is the world record-holder for being the largest picture frame ever created. It stands in at an imposing 150 meters tall, so you can’t miss it! The structure was created from a decorative mix of glass, reinforced concrete, steel, and aluminum and features a modern and abstract look. Dubai Frame officially opened for tourists to visit in 2018. Visitors are welcome to step inside and ride the elevator all the way to the top where they can walk across a sky bridge, the top of the frame, and get a 360-degree view of the city from way up high. It is a remarkable experience that is made even better with the colorful lights and geometric decor located inside. By night, Dubai Frame lights up and highlights the cityscape.

>Admission is 50 AED for adults and free for senior citizens and young kids. Dubai Frame is open daily from 9am to 9pm, but you can tour the outside of the structure all hours of the day.

  • Bundle up and head over to Ice Park where you will be able to check out intricately designed ice sculptures in an arctic climate. Each sculpture is enhanced with colorful lights to make it even more appealing to the eyes.

  • Magic Park is where visitors can go to experience eye trickery and optical illusions in a fun and interactive setting. Bring a camera and take candid photos as your friends and family stand upside down inside a house, ride on a lion, and more. Magic Park is just plain silly and is bound to make everyone in your party laugh.

  • Art Park is for those who want to look at art in a whole new light. Each piece is sculpted using recycled materials and finished off with thousands of colored lights. At Art Park, guests will see wildlife, plants, flowers, and other objects.

  • Dubai Garden Glow is open from 4pm to 11pm Saturday through Thursday and from 4pm to midnight on Friday. Admission to get into the park is 65 AED for adults and older kids. Kids three years of age and younger get in for free.
